Eora Nation

The Eora Nation encompasses the Aboriginal clans who inhabited the Sydney coastal region for over 60,000 years. The Gadigal people are the traditional custodians of the land now known as central Sydney. Their territory stretches from South Head to around Petersham, and their deep connection to the harbour and its resources shaped a rich maritime culture.
